Sebastian Maclean and Zachary Bates each fired 4-under par 66's to pace the field at the Porter Cup Qualifier held Monday, June 28th at the Niagara Falls Country Club.

Maclean, from Santa Cruz, Bolivia and Xavier University, had 5 birdies on his card before bogeying the par-3 18th hole. A resident of Chagrin Falls, OH, Bates' bogey-free round included birdies on all three par 5's.

Jake Katz of Williamsville, NY successfully navigated the Qualifier for the second straight year by shooting a 3-under par 67. Kent State junior Mackenzie Hughes and fellow Canadian Garrett Rank each posted 68's to gain entry into the Porter Cup.

A five player playoff was conducted for the last three spots. Andrew Lane of Fairport, NY, Nicholas Powell of Toronto, ONT and Braeden Cryderman of Huntsville, ONT each made par on the second playoff hole to advance.
